Meet Butterball! He is the biggest one of 5 puppies that was born on 11/26/19 to our Candi , who we rescued from a shelter in Texas- not knowing she was pregnant. Butterball is now accepting applications for his new home. He will be ready as of 2/8/2020. Butterball is a typical puppy who will need a patient family who can provide the structure and training a young puppy needs. We have no idea what breed Butterball is, but his mom appears to maybe be a rat terrier/ dachshund mix with a longer body and short legs who weighs about 16 lbs. We guess that Butterball may be about 15-20 lbs full grown, but don't quote us! Butterball's adoption donation is $350, which covers the cost of the spay/ neuter. We think taking a new puppy to training is critical in development and therefore we do require a $150 training deposit. This means the adopter would provide a post-dated check that we hold on to until the adopter provides proof of completion of a puppy class. We do not specify where training needs to be done, but we will require wherever the adopter decides uses force-free training techniques. Application, reference checks, and home visit required. Adopters must live 1.5 hours driving distance from Romeoville, IL. For more information on adopting, please email us at [email protected]. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the Adoption Process tab. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested (age appropriate), fecal tested and/or dewormed, and microchipped.
