OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: Due to the Coronavirus we are suspending any out of state adoptions until further notice. Long time no see! I've been having so much fun hanging out with my doggie friends and foster parents since they've been home that I forgot all about sending y'all an update on me! I've been doing awesome at learning that not all humans are bad. I discovered I love to snuggle up on the couch with foster mom and the other pups now. Don't get me wrong its taken a few months for me to get here, but know that I do come around. Patience is key and letting me do things at my own pace. Playing with other dogs is still my favorite! They really help boost my confidence. I've gotten to be a foster mom to 2 litters of puppies already and show them the ropes! Foster Momma thinks because of that I need to be in a home with another dog that can help guide me in what this whole dog thing is all about. I'm completely potty and crate trained. I don't even have to be put up with mom and dad go somewhere they trust me that much. Now if a thunderstorm is going on then I need to be crated as those scare me a lot. That's when I need lots of snuggles and told its going to be okay. I walk GREAT on the leash and love to go on walks. I love hanging out at my foster home, but I would love to have a home to call my own. Since I am still a bit unsure of things, my foster mom would like to do a home visit for anyone approved to adopt me. Midge is a Female American Bulldog / Pointer Mix that we estimate to be born around 1/22/2018 and weighs 37 lbs. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
