About Leo

Introducing Leo! Leo is an 8 month old, male Great Dane/Lab mix with a zest for life. He currently weighs 50lbs, so he won't be a giant boy. He's a total snuggle bug who likes to fall asleep on your lap on the couch even though he's no longer 'lap dog' sized. He LOVES to play with toys and can empty a toy basket in no time flat. He also gets the 'zoomies' often and loves to run. He is potty trained, crate trained and knows how to sit & shake. He loves other dogs and older kids. He tends to be a bit shy at first when meeting new people-but warms up quickly. Leo has been with Big Bones on medical hold since November, when he arrived with his siblings on a private airplane from Oklahoma. He was recently seen by an orthopedic specialist for a 'knee' injury that he sustained as a young puppy but does not require surgery after all. It is believed that he may require joint supplements and anti-inflammatory medication as he ages and could be prone to arthritis later in life. Fostered in Loveland. Adoption fee is $400.
