About Claudius

Claudius is an 8 year old male chihuahua mix. Our family has had Claudius (aka Claudie boo/ blackie doodle) since he was born. Claudius has been with his own litter his whole life and has had fights with his brothers over dominance. Unfortunately, we can no longer keep Claudius for his safety and safety of the other dogs in the house. When alone, Claudius is a huge cuddle bug and the best company. He loves being the center of attention and cucumbers. Claudius does bark and growl at strangers so it does take him some time to warm up. He has been an indoor dog his whole life and uses the backyard for potty. He is okay on harness and leash but can use some more training. He sleeps in a kennel at night but also loves to sleep on couches and with humans. Claudius will thrive as an only pet in a household with adults and responsible kids age 14 and over.
