Jette is a fun, energetic, playful and loving, six-month-old, 54-pound, female purebred German Shepherd with papers looking for a loving guardian. Jette knows the commands sit, down and paw and would love to learn more with her new family. She is housebroken and crate-trained, but she does bark at first when crated. She's accustomed to a house with a yard, so she's learning to walk well on leash. She's only been in a car a couple times, so she's also getting accustomed to riding in a car. She loves to play fetch with a tennis ball and she takes treats very gently from your fingers. She gives kisses and loves a rub down snuggle session. Jette came to Friends of Petraits Rescue when her original owner became ill and could no longer care for her. Jette is extremely healthy, up-to-date on vaccines, and will be spayed/microchipped on Thursday January 30th. Jette's adoption fee of $500 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Jette, please contact [email protected] for an adoption application. She is being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
