About Berta

Berta found herself at the high kill shelter when she was picked up as a stray. She is now with us, and she is a wonderful dog. She is approx 2 years old, and 55lbs. She is calm and can be trusted to free roam a house without getting into anything. With that being said, we are looking for an adopter that doesn't expect to leave her alone all day while at work. She loves people, loves companionship. She is also very playful . She loves her toys and will throw them up in the air and entertain herself. She is good with dogs, however doesn't like dogs in her face. She loves her humans, and can really care less about have another dog to play with. No children under 5 please. Berta will not be available for adoption until mid February. She was heartworm positive when she arrived here and was just treated. She will make a full recovery. Berta is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. She needs a fenced in yard.
