Lava 1.5 Years Old Male Dog Friendly Dog savvy cats okay Potty trained Fostered in Portland, OR Hello there, my name is Lava. I am a young lad at 1.5 years old. My foster mom says I'm very smart, I know how to sit, lay down, shake hands, play fetch and ring the bell when I have to go out to potty. I like other dogs that can handle all my energy and play with me! I like to be kept busy, and my foster mom gave me this puzzle toy that she puts food in and I have to find it. I am good with dog savvy cats, but may not be the best with little dogs depending on the dog as I am so full of puppy energy and can play a bit too big. I will rest in my crate, but I need to wear off some energy before I will settle down. I like to be with people and do all the things I can with you. I would probably make a good running or hiking partner! I can be a bit protective of the car and will sound the alarm with a very deep and big bark to let you know of people I'm not too sure about. I like to go for walks and do well walking on leash with a harness. I would like to find an active home that is able to be patient with me and give me lots of opportunities to learn and grow into well rounded dog.
