Almond is an absolute sweetheart and he is all boy.. He is the most happy and the most fun. He is a 10# male and his birthday is 11/19/19. His mother was PART English Bulldog...we're not sure of the Daddy. We were told that Mom had gotten with a Dachshund... that may account for the short legs. He has a stocky little body and waddles. He is also a little fuzzier than his siblings. He will probably be a medium-size dog...best guess 25-30#s...but no guarantees. He is very happy and loves to play with his siblings. He will be a great family dog and what is a big advantage is that he probably won't be able to climb fences or counter surf. We have hundreds and hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. However, if you are applying or have applied anywhere else, we do need to know that. Also, please note that we are almost always holding adoption events on Saturdays at noon at Pet Works in Olympia, Washington if you would like to meet with us in person. Pricing: Adoption fees vary ($300 - $800) depending on age, breed, training, behavior, etc. Most are $400-$500). There are no additional fees, surcharges, or taxes added. Our adoption fees cover the cost of transportation from Texas and the necessary health certificate documentation. The fees also include all medical costs to make sure the pups are appropriately vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and spayed/ neutered. Additionally, any dogs over 6 months have had a negative heart-worm test. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and a myriad of other vetting. If the adoption fees seem high (which never cover the true cost of rescue), we recommend fostering for a good rescue. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees. We are always in need of good fosters. We are all volunteers and many of us donate 70+ hours/week and thousands/year of our own funds. WA and OR shelters are funded by taxpayers, hence, many have lower adoption fees. Shayne's rescue is a few foster parents in the Olympia/Tumwater area. We foster dogs that rescues ask us to foster and let those rescues use this site to list those pups/dogs and rehome them. We donate all of our time, food, monies to assist in getting these dogs forever homes. We are not responsible for any experience you have with any dog you might see posted on this site. They are the property, if you will, of the rescue they come from and all paperwork and vet work you will receive when you adopt and it will have all that information for you.
