About Quigley

Quigley is an adult Cattle dog/Jack Russell Terrior mix who weighs about 22lbs. Hey there, Quigley is the name, and getting adopted is the game. I may be a little shy at first but it is just to see if I can trust you enough to come out of my comfort zone and shell. My past hasn't been the most promising but this nice rescue has given me a chance for a great present and future. Bones are a must have for me as I love to chew them. Also I do love me some peanut butter! I do like to go walking, as I do good on a leash but I am still learning. For the most part I am house and crate trained but as your schedule maybe different than my fosters, please be patient with me. Recliners are my favorite to sleep in. Once we decide we become new besties for life, I am very affectionate and love to cuddle. I am a bit nervous until I warm up to people so maybe older kids would be better. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
