Foster location: Boise, ID Breed: Schnauzer/Shih Tzu mix (our best guess) Age: 17 years Adoption Fee: $40.00 Adoption Application: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ Poor sweet little Coco came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue after her lifelong human passed away; sadly no one in the family could keep her. As you would expect from a dog who is 17 Coco is a super easy companion and would like nothing more than to cuddle up to her human all day. She is low key, sleeps a good portion of the day and does not want to go for walks; a quick trip around the backyard makes her happy. Coco is partially deaf and blind but a recent trip to the vet and some senior blood work shows she is pretty darn healthy. She does a very slight rise in her liver enzymes but nothing the vet is worried about at this age. Coco has some pretty dirty teeth but we aren't comfortable taxing her body by having her put under anesthesia; none of the teeth are rotten and she has no infections. This girl may be partially blind but she's still sharp as a tack she picked up the dog door very quickly. She does need to be let out frequently; you know what it's like to get old that bladder just doesn't work like it did when you were younger LOL. Coco is good with other dogs and is more than fine with cats. She would do best in a home that is clam, quiet and where her humans are around more often than not.
