About Belle

Meet Belle! Belle is a wee girl that we rescued from Iran. As you can imagine, before Belle came to the US she didn't have the best life. Now she's looking for her happily ever after with a family that is patient and loving. Belle has a bit of anxiety and is fearful in new situations and meeting new people. Once you have gained her trust - she is silly and playful. This once shut down little girl is now to a point where she is seeking out affection. She will require a patient, dog savvy owner that is willing to put the time into gaining her trust. We believe she is best suited for an adult only household that has a fenced yard. She is not leash trained - so that is not an option for her at this time. We do believe in time that she will learn how to use a leash successfully. We estimate that Belle is 4-5 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped. She is crate trained but not yet housebroken. Belle will probably benefit from someone that is within driving distance of the rescue so that you can visit several times before adoption day.
