About Luna

This is a repost, as I could not get in to edit previous post. Luna will be 5 on March 17th. She is a loving, extremely smart, and playful dog. I have two young daughters and Luna has always been great with them and other adults. She knows all her basic commands with hand signals, LOVES to play frisbee, and is completely house broken. However, she has difficulty getting along with other dogs, and needs to be the only animal in the home. We are in need of rehoming because we are out of other options, and we love her with all our heart. She lived with my husband, two daughters, and myself until she was about 2. That is when we started having trouble between she and my husband's much older dog. She had been living with my aunt the past few years and her other two shepherds. Unfortunately, my aunt suddenly passed away in late November. We have been trying to incorporate her into my mother's shepherd pack, but we have not been successful. My inital hope was to take her back when my 14 year old passed away, but alas, my aunt went first. We would not be rehoming unless we had another choice. We. Love. Her. Our hearts are breaking, and this decision has not been made lightly. With that being said, we request that potential adoptees agree to the following: *A home/family visit so that we can ensure she is going to a loving and caring home. *Understand that we do not feel comfortable adopting her out to families with existing pets. *If for any reason the adoption does not work out after the adoption, adoptees contact us directly to arrange a return. Luna is a beautiful, wonderful, and happy girl. Please help us find her a loving, caring, FOREVER home.
