AVAILABLE ifor ADOPTION in CA ONLY! My name is LUCY, and I've never had a real 'forever home'. My dream is to become part of a real family who will show me what it's like to be truly loved and treated special. I am 3 yrs. old and until I was recently rescued by SASDR, I lived my entire life in a backyard with LOTS of other Chihuahuas. We didn't see many humans. Now that I am at SAVE A SMALL DOG RESCUE, I've learned how wonderful it feels to have kind people hold me, talk to me and show me how to play with toys. They tell me that one day I will have an awesome family to live with for the rest of my life so that's what I dream about. I'm a very good girl, a little shy when I first meet you but that's just 'cause I'm still learning what it's like to be around humans. I learn quickly, though, and I want SO badly to learn more about being a happy little dog. I'm used to being around dogs so a companion dog will be great, although I'm perfectly content to be an only dog. Since I'm still learning about living inside, I'd also like to have someone at home with me during the day. I only weigh 10 lbs. so I think it would be fun to join my family on outings and trips. My Adoption Fee is $275. I've already been spayed, am current on all my vaccines, and am microchipped so I'm just waiting for my new family to make me their special little lapdog.
