SAY HELLO TO HARRIS! Harris is an adorable 9 year old handsome Schnauzer / Lhasa Apso mix boy. Weighing in at 25 pounds, Handsome Harris is such a soulful boy. Harris was surrendered as a stray wandering the streets. Though we have exhausted all efforts, his owners have never been found as they are likely not looking for him. Harris is a sweet, quiet, laid back dog who will fit into almost any household. He is affectionate but not demanding and he seems to get along with everyone. He is good to groom and bathe and likes to go for walks. He does not mind being left alone. He is an easy dog to care for and will assimilate easily into your home. Harris is house trained and such a polite gentleman. Please note that like all rescues, he will need gentle guidance and patience as he learns his new family's routine. He is leash trained, rides politely in the car and greets all he meets with a smile and a tail wag. Harris's family will be adults or adults with kids over the age of 12 who have experience, gentle hands and respect for small dogs like Harris as he has not been tested with infants, toddlers or small kids. Harris is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Harris's adoption fee is $ 300.00 This fee includes his Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, his neuter, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Harris will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that he has been eating. His adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
