About Bella von Beautiful

Hi Everybody! My name is Bella von Beautiful. I'm a German Shepherd and Australian Kelpie mix, so I'm a little bit smaller. (I weigh about 60 lbs.) I'm a great companion-indoor house dog. I would not be a qualified candidate to be kept in a garage or outside as a lawn ornament. I like to be with my people. I'm good around everyone but little toddlers and tikes scare me. I don't like them climbing or falling on me. I'd be best around children that are 10+ years old. I get along great with my foster friend, another female German Shepherd. I'd like to play with her but she's too old for me she says. I do need slow and proper introductions to other canine friends. I find a doggy park too overwhelming, but I love my walks with my foster fur friend. I'm very calm in the house. I'm house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, but I do pull on the leash a bit out of my excitement to look for them mangy squirrel creatures. I don't know about cats, can't say if I ever met one or not. I think I'd probably like to chase them. I'm a good traveler and can ride freely in the back or in a crate. I don't jump into the front seat. I also don't jump on people, and I'm not very mouthy unless you want to play that way with me. I'm very obedient and well-mannered, but I will wait around the kitchen while you're cooking, hoping for your table scraps to fall my way. I like toys and bones and treats. I like hanging out with you wherever you go and will follow you from room to room waiting patiently for you to come back to sit with me. I'd probably be great at agility programs or even hide and seek sniff games. I'm a sweetheart looking for a home after spending time in a cold concrete shelter in North Central California where my last owners dumped me.
