About Ripley

Meet Ripley! He is an 8 year old, 7.5 pound cute, cute, cute Pomeranian mix. He has a beautiful soft coat too! Ripley came to us from a New Orleans shelter. We don't know his background but he is super sweet and would love a comfy lap of his own to lie on. He likes to sleep at night in his dog bed in the room with his people. He gets along with most of the other dogs in his foster home, but be happier with just one or two friends instead of all the ones his foster mom has! Ripley would be fine in a family with both adults and kids. He has not been cat tested. A home with a fenced yard would be a great for him, but it is not required. He uses a doggie door but will mark if he can get away with it. A stern no, a good potty routine, and lots of positive reinforcement will go a long way to helping him learn that behavior isn't acceptable. Ripley is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. His neuter is scheduled soon and is covered by the rescue as long as it is done at our vet.
