Introducing handsome Banjo! He is a 2 year old Chihuahua Terrier mix who was found as a stray. Banjo is 12 pounds of fun and affection! He always wants to be with his person, gets along with other dogs, and will wrestle and play with either. He likes car rides and toys and especially loves to play a game of tug. He could use some work with walking on a leash, so a fenced yard is recommended. He's indifferent to the cat in his foster home. While not tested with children, his foster mom thinks he would do great with almost any family based on his laid-back and lovable personality. Banjo likes to sleep in the big bed, cuddled right up to your side. He knows commands and is well behaved. He will bark sometimes when outside or if someone is at the door, or whine to let you know he wants your attention or needs to go out, but overall he is pretty quiet, even at play. He marked a bit when he first came to his foster home, but has gotten better as he has settled in. Other than that he is housebroken and goes outside when offered or encouraged. Banjo has been to the vet and has a slight ear infection that is being treated. He is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. He is scheduled to be neutered soon, a procedure that is covered by the rescue as long as it is done at our vet. This very friendly sweet boy would love to meet you soon! If you would like to give Banjo a home, please submit an adoption application!
