About Elf (west)

Hi, my name is ELF - ID#A4344399. I am a neutered male, brindle and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 2 months old, and I have been at the shelter since Nov 20, 2019. Elf is an energetic and friendly guy who is very curious and smart. He knows how to open latch doors, so you'll need to keep an eye on him. He loves playing, and is pretty high energy - probably a little too much for small children. Elf can be mouthy, but doesn't bite, and takes his treats very gently, and will 'sit' if you ask him. He is dog selective, so if you already have a dog, please bring it in for a meet-and-greet first to make sure they get along. Elf walks good on a leash, but does get a little excited sometimes and pulls a little. Since Elf has been at the shelter over 60 days, he is at immediate risk for euthanasia.
