About Mama Mac

Meet Mama McGonnegal - or Mama Mac as she is affectionately called! She is a sweet, sweet 2 year old Labrador Retriever who weighs just 35 pounds. Mama Mac was sprung from a rural shelter - pregnant and about to give birth at any time. And - she had her 4 babies the following day! She loves to cuddle next to her people and is extremely quiet - she very, very rarely barks Mama likes calm surroundings and to hang out with people watching TV or movies! She is very shy at first but comes around quickly. Mama will be spayed in a few weeks after her milk is completely dried up She is also heartworm positive. We know what you're thinking - but please don't let that stop you from giving this sweet girl the great home that she deserves! We practice the slow kill method of heartworm treatment It is a combination of antibiotics and heartworm preventation and is not invasive. We give you the medication necessary for the entire course of treatment which lasts one year. Mama is up to date with vaccinations. Her adoption fee is only $100.
