About Green Cheek Conures

Kiwi and Lyla are a bonded pair of green cheek conures, they both are somewhere around 2 to 3 years old. They love to be together and spend a lot of time grooming each other. Both birds will 'step up' on to your finger if the person handling them is confident and calmly mannered. They both enjoy being sung to, dancing, sitting on a perch in the shower, sitting on their play stand next to the window and eating off your dinner plate! They are both flighted but had been clipped when I got them. Kiwi is a social butterfly and loves to ride on your shoulder, he will involve himself in everything you do if allowed. Kiwi will bite, especially if he doesn't know you well or thinks you might be scared of him. Kiwi should not live with young children but does fine with well behaved dogs and cats. Lyla is well behaved and her coloring is absolutely stunning. She lacks confidence and trust and isn't fond of being pet although she will ride around on your shoulder and sit with you while you have quiet time together.
