Sammie is a lab mix (lab/boxer/pit?). He is young. Probably just over a year old. He was rescued from Greenville Animal Care last September but his rescuers could not handle him. He was then given to someone else with small children but they couldn't handle him either. I took him right before Christmas. He is a great dog and good with people but is not good with other dogs/cats. He is currently going through a 3 week in-kennel training course at a cost of $650. He has learned to sit, lay, heel, walk on leash without pulling and is much calmer than before. The trainer says he is smart and will be a great pet but that he should be an only pet. I have 3 cats, two of which are indoors and my brother frequently visits with his own small dog. Unfortunately it's not fair that Sammie should have to be crated when other animals are around and it's not fair on the other animals either. I am asking for a $100 rehoming fee only to make sure that Sammie goes to a good home. I would want a home visit before letting him go. He will be well trained and he loves to cuddle with his humans. He will be a loyal pet.
