#A5344553 Athena is a darling 3-year-old brindle-with-white female Pit Bull and Boxer mix whose former owner left her at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on January 4th for no known reason. Weighing 52 lbs, Athena is a heartthrob with her happy personality, gorgeous smile and magical silvery-brindle coat. She is as charming as a dog can be, happy to meet new people while out and about with our volunteers. Athena's favorite activities include going for walks, getting belly rubs and playing with toys. She will be thrilled to join you on walks or hikes, and will thrive in a home where she has regular exercise and stimulation. Athena has been laid-back in the shelter's playgroups, and the shelter would like to see her placed as an only dog or with another dog with a gentle, dainty play-style as she gets overwhelmed by pushy, rowdy dogs. Athena is a doll and will be a terrific best friend for anyone seeking a medium-sized dog with a loving, happy personality.
