About Honey

Honey thanks you for sponsoring her heartworm treatment! Honey is a 3 year old lab mix weighing 50 pounds from Alabama. She is still warming up to her humans and learning to trust. Honey is very gentle and loving in personality dogs and humans alike. There are no cats in her foster home, but she did test well in her AL Foster (not aggressive but may try to play). Honey is up to date on vaccinations, micro chipped and waiting to meet you in Mechanicsburg, Pa. She appears to be house and crate trained. Honey will be finishing her treatment in York, PA so if local, she can be adopted and continue with her vet, otherwise she can be preadopted while waiting to finish treatment. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
