Riley was surrendered to New Hope when his owners felt like they could no longer provide him with the right home. Riley is approximately 2.5 years old and a very loyal boy. He is all about his people and will strongly connect to one person specifically. He is the definition of a velcro heeler. Riley's ideal home would be one with only one or two people. Unfortunately Riley CANNOT go to a home with children. Riley does well with some other dogs but doesn't get along with all dogs. A meet and greet would need to be set up for him to meet the other dog if his forever family already has other dogs. Riley has not shown much interest in the cats in his foster home so would probably be able to live with a kitty in the future. Riley is very smart and knows many commands already such as sit, belly down, stay, and kennel. He loves to ride shotgun and go on adventures. He will need an active home who will give him daily exercise and work his mind. Does Riley sound like your new best friend? If so, apply today!
