About Benji

Benji is a shorter legged hound dog who lives in my home with 2 cats and 2 female dogs, a chihuahua and great pyrenees. I think he would also be okay with male dogs. As far as kids, he does fine with my 10 year old daughter, but my 9 yo son has a neurodevelopmental/behavioral disorder and they were okay together when my son was smaller, but now that he's bigger than the dog, they're not getting along. Benji had a major injury to his leg in 2017 so he still gets a little sore, especially in the rain or winter. He likes to lay beside you on the couch and snuggle or be petted, and he likes to play in the yard. He's a good boy looking for a calm home. I'd really like to find him a forever home so he doesn't end up at a shelter.
