About Nevada

Hi, I'm Nevada, and I'm going to be your best friend! I'm 1.4 years old Collie Mix. My weight is about 41 lb, and height is approximately 21 inches at the top of my shoulders. I have been rescued with my brothers and sisters when we were about 6 months, and since then, I lived in a shelter. Shelter life is not so great, I get a minimal amount of attention and don't have space to run and play. And most importantly, I don't have a person to love! That is extremely upsetting because shelter volunteers say that I am a very sociable and friendly dog! I love everyone, but especially humans - and if you let me, I'll lick your face and hands, and will gladly accept belly and ear rubs! I am a very happy and silly dog, and we will such a great time playing with squeaky toys and going for walks together! I promise to love my family unconditionally and be the best companion there is! I am super friendly and outgoing - and people of ages would be great including even little children. I also love other dogs and indifferent to cats (which most cats enjoy and prefer). I'm smart and looking to please. Unfortunately, since I lived in the shelter all my young life, I'm still not house trained. So I hope you would be patient and gentle with me while I learn that new skill. I promise with positive reinforcement, I'll be house trained in no time! Since I am a young medium to large size doggie, I will need about 60-90 minutes of active time per day (walking/exercise/playing). I would also appreciate it if my family would be interested in training me, like doing agility and obedience classes so that I could excel at my full potencial. I am healthy, up to date with all shots, spayed, and microchipped. I am ready to start a new life with you!
