Audrey is about 4 years old. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Audrey was hit by a car, which crushed her spine and led to a loss of vision. She spent seven days on the side of a highway, in a remote location in Russia - paralyzed and blind. By some miracle, we do not know how, she survived. She was picked up by a kind woman, who got her to a rescue in Moscow. Audrey had a will to fight, and went through several surgeries and rehab. She now has partial vision, and some mobility. Audrey is very affectionate, unassuming, and sweet. She is so grateful to just be alive, and loves all people and all other dogs. She has accepted her fate, and does not ask for much at her foster home - she just lays there waiting for humans to have a minute for her. She does not yet know what it is like to have her own loving family... Audrey will need ongoing care for the rest of her life. She is unable to toilet by herself, and needs help (there is an easy protocol for this, which we are happy to explain). She would do great with a doggie wheelchair - but there are no funds available for one. We are praying that someone with a very big heart would notice her and would be willing to give this Good Girl the life she deserves. Please email us at : [email protected] Call/text: 617-901-7097
