About Piper

Piper is a 3 �%BD year old, 9 pound Japanese Chin. She is a happy girl who does really well with other dogs and is learning to love people. Piper came to us from a local breeder who was required by the State of Iowa to reduce the number of dogs in her home. In just a few weeks in her foster home Piper is blossoming. She is learning how to be a normal dog from the watching the other dogs in her home but still has a ways to go. Piper needs another young playful dog or two in her home so she has a buddy. She wants to play with another dog. At night she sleeps in bed right between her people. Piper has no experience on a leash so needs a fenced yard so she can safely run and play. Piper needs a patient family who will be patient with her as she learns how to be a normal dog. Piper is housetrained and will go to a door to let you know she needs to go out. If someone isn't home to let her out she will use a potty pad. Piper is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped. She also just had a dental.
