About Artemis (west)

Hi, my name is ARTEMIS - ID#A4341639. I am a spayed female, brown Rottweiler and German Shepherd Dog. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 2 months old, and I have been at the shelter since Nov 14, 2019. Artemis was found by a caring stranger who kept her for a week, posting signs in effort to find her owner. No luck, so she was surrendered to the shelter. Artemis is a sweet girl, although quite strong and jumpy. She will walk on a leash, but is a strong puller. She knows 'sit' (for a cookie), but then jumps up for more. We recommend no small children until she can learn better manners. Artemis is gentle other wise, takes treats gently, and is quite playful. This high energy girl needs an adopter with a firm hand so she can learn how to get along with other dogs, so we suggest she be the only pet in the house for now.
