About Honey

Honey is a 1-2 year old fluffy little mix weighing about 10lbs.�%A0 We were told by the shelter she is a Papillon mix, but that is just a guess! What we do know, is that she is an adorable, fluffy little dog. Honey was dumped at a shelter in Texas through no fault of her own.�%A0 It was her crummy family wanting to travel and not seeing Honey as a true family member, just as a burden.�%A0 We knew she deserved better than that!�%A0 Honey has since made her way to CO to find her forever home, and here is what her foster Momma has to say about her: 'Honey is as sweet as pie.�%A0 At 9.6lbs, this little ball of energy is curious, excited, and happy as can be.�%A0 Upon coming into our home, it was clear she didn't have a ton of experience being a family dog, but man she is trying!�%A0 She absolutely loves food, other dogs, running around outside, and women.�%A0 She is a little weary of men, but we are working on hard on getting her more comfortable.�%A0 She is making progress and you can tell she just wants love.�%A0 She is also making so much progress on the leash, as well as potty training.�%A0 She does well in a crate, sleeps through the night cuddled up next to me, loves the new experience of treats and bones, gives tons of kisses and cuddles, and is absoutely fascinated by television and her own reflection.�%A0 She's extremely quiet but will make tiny noises when she's watching other dogs and people out the window.�%A0 She will crack you up when she gets the zoomies around the house, walks on her back legs, and flops over for belly rubs.�%A0 Just look at those eyes.�%A0 Her lashes are a humans drea,.�%A0 If you are a woman looking for a sweet, loving dog, or have a male in the household who has some patience to win her over with treats and love, she is the perfect dog for you.�%A0 She turns heads on every block - no one has a bad thing to say about her.'
