About Joey

Joey is an 11lb, 1.5 year old adorable little Mutt.�%A0 If we had to make a guess on his breeds we would say Terrier/Chi, but that is just a guess. Joey came from a shelter in Kansas that has very little foot traffic.�%A0 Most of the dogs don't make it out unless they are transferred to other rescues.�%A0 The shelter asked us to take Joey since he was a shelter favorite and they said he just had the best personality.�%A0 They told us more than anything he just wanted to be in someone's arms.�%A0 Now that he has made his way to CO they couldn't have been more right, Joey is the sweetest, moving loving, social little dog.�%A0 Here is what is current CO foster has to say about him: 'He's the sweetest little guy.�%A0 He seems to be housebroken - no accidents yet!�%A0 He doesn't seem to mind sleeping in his crate at night, but I think he would rather be snuggled with him human if possible.�%A0 He gets along well with my dog and other dogs.�%A0I don't have a cat so I am not sure how he would do, but with how sweet and easy he is I can't see him having an issue!�%A0 He loves to snuggle and rarely barks.�%A0 I included a picture of him snuggling up on my shoulder...he's so cuddly and cute!�%A0 I haven't noticed any aggressive behaviors since he's been here.�%A0 I am pretty sure he wouldn't hurt a fly!�%A0 We have been walking him on a leash daily and he is really getting the hang of it!�%A0 I think he will be totally leash trained by the time he gets adopted.' We know black dogs are harder to get adopted.�%A0 If little Joey was a a tan fluffy dog we would have hundreds of applications immediately with his wonderful personality.�%A0 We are hoping his phenomenal personality and adorable face will catch the hearts of his forever family.
