About URGENT - VENICE

PLEASE PLEASE SAVE HIM!!! #A5338794 Venice is a confident 5-year-old charcoal and caramel brindle male Pit Bull who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as an owner surrender on December 3rd because his former owner had another pet in the home and they didn't get along. Weighing 80 lbs, Venice is an athletic dog who enjoys exercise and needs to expend his energy so he can settle down and chill afterward. He's required to be the only dog in the home and he needs all the basic training though he seems to already know sit. Venice pulls strongly on leash and may benefit from a harness like an 'easy walk' since he strains his neck. Once he gets the hang of the leash he will be an ideal companion for long walks, jogging, or hiking. He's a happy guy whose tail doesn't stop wagging, which has caused a minor injury from repeatedly wagging against the kennel. His 'happy tail' is currently wrapped and will heal up nicely as long as he doesn't re-injure it. Venice has a pretty unique brindle coat and will be an eye catching companion and cuddle buddy for the family committed to meeting his needs for exercise and training.
