About Condor

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. I am Condor the Magnificent. That's actually my name. According to me. But the adoption coordinators rolled their eyes and said, 'Condor the Magnificent is too long a name�'�| we are shortening it to Condor.' But you can still tell me I'm magnificent. Because holy heck�'�| look at me!! (But please ignore the ridiculous snowman pajamas) I mean, it doesn't get much better than me. Not to be too confident, but what is there not to like about a rugged dude named Condor that looks like this?! I look good in all clothing, I have amazingly fuzzy fur and I have one of those short, stubby snouts that makes me very kissable. But don't go overboard�'�| let's get to know each other first. Oh the other hand, I pretty much kiss a bunch of people I've just met, so I'm good with us kissing too. Come to the adoption center and kiss me. I prefer to kiss noses. It's a canine thing. I'm a playful fellow who also likes to be held and stick my head by your ear and neck. It's kind of my thing. Like a signature style. AND I'm kind of like a superhero because you can hold me up and pretend to make me fly. I know actual superheroes fly but it's almost the same thing. My siblings (all 10 of us) will be at the adoption center for the first time the weekend of January 25. I'm sure the line to meet us will stretch for miles and miles (maybe that's a tiny bit of an exaggeration) so get those applications in early (for me, not them) and be approved to adopt when you get there! That way you can be the first one to get to cuddle me, get a nose kiss and make me fly like a superhero. Condor is a Male Australian Shepherd Mix that we estimate to be born around 11/25/2019 and currently weighs 5 lbs. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
