About Finch

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Gosh I'm good looking. I mean, have you seen me? It's not even questionable. I am one good looking dude. You know how some really good looking dudes know it and then are kind of full of themselves? I'm not that dude. I, clearly, know about my extreme handsomeness but I'm really down to earth. I'm a chill dude who prefers to have a cool beverage, a meal with my friends (and hopefully, someday my new fam) and make some memories. I enjoy lounging, hopping, romping and kissing. Yes, kissing. I said it. I like to kiss. I mean, not in an intrusive, weird way though. And I don't demand kisses. Well, maybe sometimes I do�'�| Right now I'm living with a big squad of my siblings. There are 10 of us. We are named after birds. I have no idea why. Seemed like a strange choice to me but hey, I'm chill. I really don't care. Whatever floats your boat. I'll be hitting the adoption center for the first time on January 25 with all of my siblings. If you hadn't heard, we are internet famous on Tik Tok in a video of us picking out our collars. No really. We are. So, we may just be a little popular. Don't worry though - it hasn't gone to my head. (Between you and me though, it may have gone to Pigeon's head but don't repeat me). Apply early�'�| you won't be sorry! Finch is a Male Australian Shepherd Mix that we estimate to be born around 11/25/2019 and currently weighs 5 lbs. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
