About Foxy

Foxy is a lovely little girl but suffers from possessive aggression. She will openly attack other dogs that approach the human she is occupying. She can be good socially with other dogs. She plays with larger dogs and puppies, she lives in a house with 4 other dogs of varying sizes and ages. The problem occurs when she is on someone's lap and another dog approaches. She does more than growl, she will launch herself and attack the other dog just for breaching her space. My mom, who adopted this little dog last August has dementia and as her primary care giver we just don't have the knowledge or the energy to deal with this issue... and aI am worried for my mom's safety as she will try to intervene and has gotten bitten. She really is a loving soul, but she needs to be somewhere where she can be queen of everything with and understanding support group to rule over.
