About Nellie

Extremely urgent!! 'Little Miss Nellie was roaming the streets of Chicago for a bit before a concerned citizen was able to catch her. The whole neighborhood new of her and were concerned for well-being. They would leave food out for her, try to catch her to get her out of the cold...but Nellie wasn't having any of it. Until someone was able to set a trap and put some enticing food inside...boom! Nellie is safe! Unfortunately, Nellie has a large mass on her neck that is very concerning to all her fans. She's still a little nervous, but was easy to leash up and allowed for handling outside - including letting me exam that mass. She took treats gently and walked well on leash. We will be working on finding rescue for this girl so that we can ensure her mass is biopsied and she is given whatever treatment she needs to live her best life. My friends at Live Like Roo Foundation have graciously offered sponsorship for examination and biopsy of her mass once Nellie is pulled by a reputable rescue. Nellie needs rescue, and rescues need fosters! We will be keeping you up to date if we find a rescue wiling to take apps on Miss Nellie. ' written by a volunteer. Middle-aged, very sweet, has nice/medium energy level. Very cuddly and chill. Sweet Nellie needs a foster to adopter to be able to live.
