About Portillo

Extremel urgent! Shelter is full. 'I love Portillo's! Who's with me?! When I met this guy, I knew we had to give him an endearing name. Well just like the awesome Chicago staple, we've also got our very own delicious Portillo here. He is fun, affectionate and a little beefy (prob from eating a few too many hot dogs or chocolate cake). Portillo has adorable markings... smudged gray liner, black lipstick and some pink blush on his mouf. He often looks like he is smiling! What I like most about Portillo is his spirit. I read that this poor guy arrived with an open wound on his neck and tail and was very scared. He was in the back receiving medical care and healing for several weeks before coming up front. I never would have guessed his initial condition given how friendly he is and no issues with handling. He is a good boy, often sits without asking and waits for his treat (while smiling and pitter-pattering his paws ----) cuteness overload)... seriously, check out the video!
