Bert does not have any actual diagnosed health problems, but he does have a bit of a limp and possibly has degenerative disc disease. His back was hurt a few months ago and we cannot risk it happening again. We have a big playful dog and we are afraid he will accidentally hurt Bert. We also have four kids who love to play with Bert. Bert is painfully submissive and will urinate and possibly release his anal glands if scared. He could even be scared just by an adult approaching him. He needs a very patient owner. We love him dearly but he has to spend a lot of time in his kennel due to his back. His fee is really just to ensure he goes to a good home that will care for him. We are heartbroken to rehome him, but don't see another option. He has growled at adults before, but never bitten. I think he is too submissive for that. He enjoys playing with our cat and LOVES to snuggle and be a lap dog. I have more pictures I can share as well. We will pass on his kennel to his new owner.
