WOOF WOOF! I'm GATSBY, a beautiful retriever/shep mix recently rescued from a high kill shelter and so ready to find a loving forever home. I'm about 15 months old and about 45lbs of sweetness. My foster family thinks I'm awesome and shares the following: 'Gatsby is a super sweet guy. He loves to be petted and loves being around his humans. He barks very little, mainly only when he hears other dogs outside. He's a big sniffer and curious about anything new. He loves going for walks, although he pulls on the leash a bit. I think he would be a great running dog. He's always up for playtime and loves to play tug-of-war with a thick rope and run after a ball. He hasn't really interacted with any other dogs since we've had him but there are dogs next door. You can tell he REALLY wants to go meet them. He's been very friendly to the few people who have come over to the house. Once he sniffs them he seems to accept them right away.' GATSBY is housebroken, crate and leash trained and has good house manners. He is neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. His adoption fee is $425.00.
