About Buster

Welcome Buster to Humphrey House. Buster is an 8 yr old male chi-weenie that weighs around 10 pounds. He will need a home that is experienced with the temperment of dachshunds and/or chihuahuas. Buster arrived with a deformity of his jaw. It's unclear if his jaw was previously broken or if it's from his jaw rotting away from decay. He eats just fine but his tongue does continuously hang out of his crooked little mouth. Buster is the type of dog that needs to pick his person. He will climb in your lap to cuddle, but then growl. He will nudge your hand for rubs, but then growl. If someone else approaches while he's in your lap, he will growl. Buster will need a quiet home, where he can spend his golden years feeling safe. I can only image what this poor boy has been through to cause him to be so scared. Please send us a message if you think Buster would feel safe in your home. Buster has been the same with dogs as he is with people. He wants to cuddle with the other dogs, but then growls if anyone moves. He absolutely loves cats! Although I can't guarantee cats will feel the same way. Although Buster doesn't like to be touch and will TRY to bite, he does not have any teeth, so he just slobbers all over you lol.
