Bindy is an 11 month old spayed American Bulldog. We are rehoming because of an ongoing conflict with our other male dog and it is simply not fair to either of them to have to separate lives. Bindy is a lover not a fighter and would prefer to avoid conflict but will fight back if provoked by another dog. Bindy weighs about 100 pounds and we expect her to top out around 110-115. While she is a big girl, she is the most loving and snuggly bully. She loves nothing more than to play for 10-15 minutes and then take a snooze with you. She has average energy and does well on walks 0.5-1.5 miles. She knows basic commands and is housebroken. She is crate trained and enjoys a good car ride. She has done well with our 10 & 12 yr old children and their friends and is good around adults in our family. We feel Bindy would be best as an only dog so she can soak up all the attention. While she does OK with our cat she does have some prey drive so would caution a home with a cat. She is typically more curious than anything else. Bindy does have some seasonal allergies, but treatable with OTC meds. We adore this girl and are heartbroken to have to make this decision but feel that she deserves to be fully loved and not be in constant conflict with the other dog at the house. Would prefer a home that is familiar with this breed and their needs.
