About Pacsun

This sweet boy is Pacsun, he's a poodle mix and he was rescued from life on the street where he was found matted and tired. He's cleaned up really nice and knows he's safe now. He's probably 6-8 years old. He is in the middle of being treated for heartworm disease. He has had his 1st injection and will need number 2 and 3 back-to-back in 30 days. (He is scheduled on the 29th of January in Mesa) We are taking applications for him and will adopt him to a committed family who will finish his treatment. He is not quite housebroken yet and uses a belly band. He is just now starting to play with his foster sister, she's a female dog a little bigger than he is. Pacsun has had a hard life thus far. He is not a cuddly dog, he is friendly with everyone but not a snuggler. He needs an experienced adopter who understands he's never been given a lot of attention, he doesn't know what to do with it and does take him time to bond with people. He would do best with a calm female dog who's larger than he is. He's got a little arthritis in his back hips. So a quiet home that's not chaotic, with another furry friend would be ideal for him.
