Lola was Code Red at the Arlington shelter. She was a volunteer favorite because of her sweet and gentle personality. Lola has had several litters so she might have been a breeding dog She likes women more than men. She can be shy around men. She loves being with her person and wants constant affection. She tolerates other dogs but becomes scared around dogs roughhousing She does not like to eat around other dogs. I have to feed her by hand sometimes. She would prefer to be the only dog. She knows sit and we are working on down and stay She takes treats gently and sits for treats. She doesn't like cold weather. I put a blanket on her at night when it's cold out. She loves sleep and goes to bed at 8pm. Her favorite activity is going for her daily walk. She gets very excited when I pull out her leash. She barks and hops around. We are working on pulling too hard at the beginning of the walk. She sleeps on the bed. She doesn't play a lot with toys but I think that will change if she is the only dog. Children might scare her because of the noise. She is so sweet and gentle she is vulnerable to abuse. She drools when you have really tasty food. She might make a great emotional support dog. Lola is 4-5 years old and weighs 55 lbs. If you would like to meet Lola to see if she might be a good fit for your family, please fill out an application on our website at www.bullluvablepaws.org.
