About Dexter

I'm Poindexter but everyone calls me 'Dexter'. I am ~1 year old and about 75lbs., have had my boy surgery, and am up to date on my shots. I am a lovable friendly fellow who does love affection; loves to play and run around. Car rides are fine but I love to talk to you while in the car. I am working on being crate trained - hey, I just want to be with my people. I am good with children but I am a big boy so older than 10yrs. old is what is required. I need experienced dog owners and an active family and��%BD'��%BD|. a fenced yard is also required. I am young so I am an active soul and I love run around and explore. Do you go hiking; that would be awesome too. Give me a job and I will be happy---pleasing you is #1. As for other dogs��%BD'��%BD|.we shall have to see��%BD'��%BD|Cats��%BD'��%BD|.No they run and I think it would be fun to chase them, just saying! UPDATE: I got to go home for a weekend with some nice people and their son and they said I was a very good boy. First, they took me to a BIG pet store and I met a Doberman and then a little poodle and we were all friendly - a good thing, right? I also got a bath....I didn't like it much but I was polite and didn't give them a hard time about it. I had no accidents in the house so I know this house-training thing will be a breeze for me in your home too! I loved smelling all the smells in their house and I smelled every corner in every room but I did settle down and slept all through the night in their room. Oh yes, I easily figured out how to get the peanut butter out of a Kong they got me. Hey, it was good and I like food; don't you? It was a fun weekend and I loved all the attention they gave me and they seemed to like all the kisses I gave them. Adoption Fee $350.00 Most of our dogs are boarded in a kennel with limited hours. The kennel owner works with the dogs to get to know them, then is able to provide additional information about the dog to only approved applicants. We update our information as we learn about them. Know that our adoption process includes a vet background check and a home visit.
