Kit was a stray dog found in rural MS. Since she was already housebroken, crate trained and had good leash skills, it was assumed she had an owner who would come for her. No one did. I felt so sad for Kit, abandoned or left behind when someone moved. However, her life became a whole lot brighter the day she was offered rescue and taken in by her southern foster mom. She's a lucky pup! Kit enjoys playing with other dogs and hanging out with her people. We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in her genetic background. Our best guess is that she is a Labrador Retriever mix, As of January 14, Kit is estimated to be 10 months old and weighs 50 lbs. We expect her to reach 55-60 lbs as an adult, but we can not guarantee size at maturity. Highlights about Kit: - Housebroken - Crate trained - Likes spending time with people - Enjoys playing with other dogs - Walks well on a leash - Friendly, Affectionate - Up-to-date on vaccines - Tested negative for heartworm disease in December - Taking monthly heartworm prevention - Was spayed in December Our adoption fee is $375 which includes age appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, Rabies), spaying, worming, micro-chipping, and health exam.
