About Pulgarcito

Pulgarcito is a 9month old Chihuahua mix looking for his forever home! He came to us after his owners were no longer able to care for him or his parents. He weighs about 8 pounds and shouldn't grow past 10lbs full grown. Pulgarcito was very shy when he first came to us, but he has blossomed into a friendly boy. He is still a little shy with being picked up but once you have him he kisses you and just melts in your arms! He likes to be with other small dogs, so another small dog in the home may be best for him. He prefers females, but he might enjoy a young male playful friend too! Please bring any potential canine companions to meet with him prior to adoption. He has done well with men, women, and gentle children. Pulgarcito spent the early months of his life living outside, so we are not sure if he is housebroken. He has learned to use a dog door here with us, and is also kennel trained. He would do best in a semi-active or active home with another dog to play with :) He is altered, vet checked, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
