About Princessa

Princessa is a sweet and affectionate 3 year old Chihuahua mix looking for her forever home. She is about 13 pounds full grown. Princessa came to us after her owners were no longer able to care for her and the other dogs in the home. She was very shy when she first came to us but has opened up with time and patience and is a sweet, affectionate, loving girl! She has done well with men, women, and gentle children. She is good with other small dogs and wouldn't mind another canine companion her size. Please bring any potential canine companions to meet with her prior to adoption to make sure it is a good fit. Princessa has spent most of her life outside, so we are unsure if she is fully housebroken. While at our shelter she has been great in a kennel with no messes, and also has learned how to use a dog door :) Princessa would do wonderful in a patient, active or semi active home. She is altered, vet checked, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300 and includes 30 days of complementary pet insurance and a free vet visit.
