About Hamilton

Look at that face! We rescued Hamilton from a rural kill shelter in SC and now he is in a foster home so we know a lot about him. Yes he is the rare walker who is fine with cats (living with one) and loves dogs (living with a dominant male) and absolutely loves to play! He is utterly charming, healthy, nearly housetrained, loves to cuddle, is curious and smart. A secure fenced yard is a must and he would love to have a resident dog as a playmate.No small kids who can leave the door open, he is a hound after all and will bolt. He loves his toys, is gentle, only about 40 pounds and a year old, Hamilton is heartworm negative and on prevention. Ask for more pics. All adoptions have a trial period to make sure its a good match. He is near Raleigh now but we will transport to an approved home. Vet reference and home visit as always.
