About Flash aka Gordie

Flash was rescued out of East Texas and brought to Portland Oregon recently. Flash is a sweet dog who gets along with people and is really good at reading other dogs sizes and play styles. It is possible he has some lab but really we think he is a Carolina dog with some hound dog mixed in. Rescueme does not have a Carolina dog category unfortunately. Gordy will need a trainer and handler who will use positive training and will continue to find what motivates him. He could be placed with other dogs as long as it is the right dog. He may be a bit too fixated on cats but has not shown aggression when presented with a cat while leashed. Could be very situational. He has not shown any aggression but we were working on his jumping up and mouthiness As these puppy behaviors were never train properly out of him and he is now a tall lanky giant puppy who just wants to get near you and get attention.
