About Zeus

I'd like some information about surrendering my 5 year old bulldog Zeus. He has become more aggressive and bit my son and husband last week and my son required 10 stitches to his forearm. They were trying to feed the dogs and corral him into our laundry room where they stay for the night. They have a doggie door and have access to the backyard and they come and go freely. He is house broken and does not void in the house. He is great with me but my son is terrified of him now. He was a great dog until my landlord started coming into my home unannounced 2 years ago and I have since moved out but since then my bulldog is extremely aggressive towards all men or anyone who come to our home. He also snarls and snaps when he doesn't want to move. We tried a month long away from home training but he came back with scars around his neck and back and no change or maybe worsening of his symptoms. I believe he was also hit or beaten during the stay. I've tried to get him to accommodate dog walkers but he will not tolerate any strangers at the house lately. I am the only one who can walk him but I also avoid people while I'm walking him by moving him to the other side of the street. He is not aggressive with our other dogs or other dogs on our walks but is aggressive towards men. I've tried to locate a no kill shelter or the local dog pound but am told that since he has bitten he will be put down. I am looking for someone who can love him and retrain him and not put him down. I'm heartbroken about surrendering him but I'm afraid of he gets out of our yard he may bite some one. Here is my contact information. 3618503834.
